EF Game for Inhibition: Dragon Tower

This game is one of the three games I developed for my doctoral dissertation, Using Games as Measurements of Executive Function.

Dragon Tower is a game that can be used to measure young adults’ inhibition ability (the ability to inhibit impulsive responses). In this game, participants control a knight (with the mouse cursor) to navigate through a tower where dragons of different colors fly down from a higher platform of the tower. Players can get points by slashing a dragon. However, dragons of one specific color are picked as the “non-slashable” which will explode if touched by players with a HP penalty. The non-slashable dragons alternate every 20 seconds and are constantly shown in the upper left corner of the interface. For playtesting, you can input “10000” as the participant ID.
